My HP Deskjet 6840 said paper when it is not. If you do not see the options yet, please specify which application you are printing from. Make sure that the print details are displayed by clicking on the blue triangle next to the name of the printer. The print dialog box must contain the required options. (Formerly, when I clicked 'print' a dialog box appears that allowed me to make a number of choices regarding the pages, the number of copies, collation, etc.) Now, my only choice is to print or not to print).Īnyone know what is happening here? Since installation, the dialog box that allows me to indicate what pages of a document that I want to print is no longer see printer - which makes it necessary to print the entire document, even if I want only a page of it. Limitation of Deskjet 6840 print with mac OS 10.6.8 The 97 and 99 are free cartridges because the 99 adds three additional colors (light cyan, light magenta and black in the photo). The 99 cartridge actually goes into the black cartridge slot. Note: I have 4 cartridges #99, I intend to use for photo printing and this can be a problem for big $. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get the #99 knitting (other that cannibalize the cartridge or the printer)? The manual indicates that the Tri-Color #95 or 97 #, color #99 and #100 grey all work in the 6840. The #99 has a ridge that is offset to the left of the central axis and interferes with a piece for the printer and thus, it can accommodate so not entirely (installation). It turns out that there is a ridge on the top of the #97 which is shifted to the right of the axis of the cartridge. He did not fit into the slot, that I had removed the #97. My cartridge three-color HP Deskjet 6840 #97 on ink was insufficient. Designated replacement cartridge Deskjet 6840 does not fit
